Is 4DX Avatar worth it
The 4DX throws you even deeper into the experience and it's an incredibly fun novelty experience but you absolutely need to see this in IMAX 3D first before you dive into the water effects and atmospherics that the 4DX experience provides. I usually choose one format or the other but for this movie and this movie over.
Is Avatar 2 in 4DX
as well as Avatar remastered in 4dx. so the way of water would be my third time experiencing it in the cinemas. it is by far the best 4dx.
Is 4DX uncomfortable
Most viewers tend to lean back in their seats. 4DX, however, is incredibly disorienting if you sit that way — you feel at the mercy of the chair, which can go side to side, up and down, and forward and backward. Eventually, we discovered that it was best to sit up straight and almost lean forward a little bit.
Is 4DX better than IMAX
4DX is often mistaken for or compared to IMAX 3D. However, both are vastly different standards. IMAX screens have more to do with the picture quality and the sound, whereas 4DX is more about the seats and practical effects. 4DX cinemas can screen both 2D and 3D movies.
Can you turn 4DX seats off
No other effects can be turned on/off. All chairs move together, so we cannot stop individual chairs from moving.
Can you smell in 4DX
STANDARD. 4DX Standard consists of motion chairs equipped with motion simulators for 3 Degrees of Freedom. The Standard model also includes scents and the bottom and back shakers.

4DX films will not necessarily be presented in 3D. If the particular film is also presented with 3D, glasses will be required. 3D glasses are available to purchase in cinema for an additional $1.00, and are yours to keep and reuse on future visits. 3D glasses are not included in the ticket price.
Who is 4DX not suitable for
If you are pregnant, elderly, physically or mentally sensitive or have any of the following health conditions, you should not use a 4DX auditorium: high blood pressure, heart conditions, allergies,neck or back conditions, epilepsy, motion sickness or other conditions that could be aggravated by the 4DX equipment.
Why is 4DX so expensive
4DX theaters are slightly more expensive than IMAX because of the 4D technology that requires much more planning and programming to incorporate all the 21 effects in the movie.
Can you watch 4DX if you wear glasses
Do you have to wear 3D glasses for a 4DX film screening The 4DX experience takes place in a special auditorium at the Kinepolis cinema: thanks to its hinged seats and adapted environment, it plunges the viewers into the universe of the film. However, if the film is not presented in 3D, you don't need to wear glasses.
Can you eat during a 4DX movie
Avoid eating or drinking during intense motion scenes. Drinks should be in a covered cup that fits in the cup holder.

But if you are the kind that would rather zone-out to another world — this experience would be heavily incompatible with your need. For one, it is distracting. In your anticipation for the next bolt, you would lose sight of the main narrative. For most of us, watching a movie is a contemplative experience.
Will I get motion sick at 4DX
Can you get motion sickness from 4DX No motion sickness, no needing to leave the theater. Just all-around enjoyment as we got to experience something that some only dream of – the complete Frozen II experience.
