1. : of inferior grade or quality. 2. : being near that extreme of a specified range which is lowest, least intense, least serious, or least competent.
Is 0 an F grade
A Failure is counted as 0 grade points per credit in computing the GPA. In effect since August of 1980, all courses receiving an A – F grade are used in the calculation of a GPA. This includes courses which are failed and repeated.
