Consistent Characteristics. A well-designed font will have characteristics that stay true to the entire font set. This means that the widths of the letters should be consistent to avoid some letters that are too wide and some that are too thin. This also applies to the height of the letters as well.

Using the golden ratio in typography
Using the golden ratio, you could multiply 10px by 1.618 to get 16.18, or 16px. Conversely, let's say you're trying to find a body font size to go with your header font size of 25. You could then divide 25 by 1.618 to get a suggested font size of 15.45px, or 16px.
Realistically, there's no reason to use more than three fonts, in any piece of design (not just the web) that's it, no more, sorry. One for your headings and one for body copy. When you add in bold and italics we're already looking at 4 variants of each, so that's more than enough to play with.
Lexicon took three years to design. I don't think anyone would spend three years designing a typeface and then sell it for $10. I actually did a little research and was able to find a font that is slightly more expensive than Lexicon. It's called JHA Bodoni Ritalic and is available on MyFonts for an even $5,000.
