Over the course of ten weeks, a different girl will fall in love with Taro, becoming a target for Ayano to eliminate.

Although they hadn't even spoken, Ryoba instantly fell in love with Jokichi, since he was the boy from her dreams. She began to admire him for a year, building up courage to speak to him so she wouldn't make him hate her, as well as filling her Senpai Shrine up with stuff Jokichi touched or had.

He's also a little creeped out by her and worries about her, but he still loves his daughter. This is supported in Basement Tape #10, since he is concerned about Ayano living on her own. Ayano's lack of emotions during childhood eventually led him into depression, and he would start smoking to cope.
